Grace Alice Ball began her training in Fairfax, Virginia at the Center for Ballet Arts under Benn and Deborah Savage. She performed with the Ballet Arts Ensemble for four years performing locally and at the Southeast Regional Ballet Association.

Grace received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with Honors from George Mason University. At Mason she studied under Jim Lepore, Karen Reedy, Susan Shields, Christopher D’Amboise, and Connie Dannpoli. While at Mason she was recognized by the Dance department with a Friends of Dance scholarship. While performing with the George Mason Dance Company, she had the privilege of performing pieces by Martha Graham, Kate Skarpetowska, Susan Shields, Christopher D’Amboise, and Diane Colburn-Bruning.

Megan Caputo is from Hillsville, Virginia where her dance training started at Carroll County Dance Center. She attended Virginia School of the Arts, a pre-professional school for ballet her last two years of high school. At VSA Megan had the opportunity to participate in guest work under Michael Medcalf, Lorraine Graves, Adam Sage, and Tyrone Brooks.


Megan graduated from George Mason University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with Honors. While attending GMU Megan had the opportunity to perform choreography by Martha Graham, Mark Morris, Kate Skarpetowska, and Billy Smith III. Megan also had the opportunity to train under the following professionals: Susan Shields, Christopher D’Amboise, Karen Reedy, Constance Dannapoli, Jim Lepore, Kat Horrigan; and guest work under Denise Vale and Loren Grant. 

Susie Wopat is From Baltimore, Maryland, Susie began her dance training in a variety of genres at age seven. She is a graduate from Indiana University’s Contemporary Dance Program with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in dance. 


She has performed works by Larry Keigwin, James Martin, Kyle Abraham, and Andrea Miller, and has studied with guest artist’s including Adriane Fang, Pamela Pietro, Rashuan Mitchell, Connie Dinapoli, Jeremy Jae Neal, and Jaclyn Walsh.


She also performed with Company E at the Centennial Celebration at the John F. Kennedy Center. In addition, she has taught at EMC Performing Arts Studio for five years, and is currently teaching at Adagio Ballet School of Dance. 

Darian Lida


Darian Iida began her early dance training at the Joan Izzo Academy of Dance in Chantilly, Virginia, where she became principal dancer in their company, Superne Dance Theatre. Her continued ballet training was with American Ballet Theatre (ABT, NYC) under Franco De Vita, Harriet Clark, Melissa Allen Bowman, Olga Dvorovenko, and Kate Lydon when she attended ABT’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School in NYC from summers 2006 to 2010. There, she was also introduced to modern dance with Jessica Lang and Tina Fehlandt (of Mark Morris Dance Group).


In 2011, she received a full scholarship into the pre-professional dance school of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in NYC. She trained extensively in ballet with Graciela Kozak and Celia Marino, Horton technique with Ana Marie Forsythe and Milton Myers (of Jacob’s Pillow), and Graham technique with Marianne Bachmann and Kevin Predmore, along with hip-hop, improvisation, and Broadway performance. She has performed at the Ailey Citigroup Theater in Manhattan, Disney World, Wolf Trap, and various other stages in the local Northern Virginia area. Currently, Darian resides in Herndon, Virginia, and is the Assistant Director at Music Spectrum School for the Arts, where she incorporated a dance program for children (and adults!) in the arts.
